Janelle Marks opened Ericson Group Louisiana, LLC in July 2001. Based in Shreveport/Bossier City, she has developed a strong relationship with casinos and other businesses throughout the state. Her clients include Horseshoe Casino, Harrah's Casino, Hollywood Casino, CenturyTel, Grambling State University, and Hibernia Bank.

Prior to Ericson Group Louisiana, Janelle was the Public Relations Director for WUMR-U92 FM. She hosted her own talk show "Spotlight 92" which she presented weekly as a public relations and community project.

Janelle began her professional career as a Media Planner Intern for Foote, Cone & Belding in Chicago, IL. Her duties included the development of numerous media plans as well as the coordination of information for clients. Janelle has also worked in account service for Arnold Advertising in Boston, MA where she serviced the Converse Athletic Shoe account, among others.

Janelle holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Communication with a special emphasis in Broadcast Electronic Media from the University of Memphis.
