Lisa Lichtenberg joined Ericson Group at
its beginning in 1999 as the corporation’s Secretary and business
consultant. She is currently working on some of Ericson’s
large apparel accounts including Levy Restaurants and Gibson Guitar.
Prior to working with Ericson Lisa spent
over 25 years in the retail industry, most with Federated Department
Stores. When she retired from Federated Merchandising Group in New
York, New York in 2002, she was the company’s Senior Vice
President of Retail Technology and one of their highest ranking
female executives.
In 1995 Lisa assumed the position of Vice
President of Merchandise Technology and Vendor Standards for Federated
Logistics where she focused on the use of technology to increase
retail sales by improving supply chain management.
In 1992 she was named Divisional Vice President
of Merchandise Technology. Her primary responsibilities included
the roll-out of new technology at all Federated retail divisions.
Lisa career with Federated began in 1989 when Federated Department
Stores and Allied Department Stores, at the time the two largest
retail companies in the US, merged. She served as a Senior Systems
Consultant in Atlanta, Georgia.
Lisa began her retail career in 1977 with
Burdines Department Stores in Miami, Florida as Retail Buyer. She
then moved to Maas Brothers department stores in Tampa, Florida
in 1980 and worked as Divisional Sales Support Manager where she
oversaw multiple projects for Maas Brothers, Burdines and Jordan
Marsh stores.
Lisa’s interest in fashion design
started early-on when she won a national contest to design a new
style of jeans for Levi Strauss & Co. She also won the National
Notions Association Design Contest. Soon after this early success,
she was hired to design all the entertainment costumes for Busch
Gardens theme park in Tampa, Florida.
Lisa graduated from Florida State University
in 1976 with a degree in merchandising. |
